Raised in the Texas Hill Country, Dan West Cowart has spent more than 47 years living and working in the place he proudly calls home. A father of four grown children, Dan built his career and reputation over 22 years in Kerrville, where he and his family ran a custom lumber and flooring business specializing in mesquite and antique longleaf pine. During that time, his interest in buying, developing, and reselling properties naturally grew, leading him into real estate. For the past 12+ years, he has been a trusted agent primarily helping clients buy and sell rural properties and homes across the Hill Country.
Dan has enjoyed living in Fredericksburg for over a decade, where he balances his career with his hobbies– fishing on the Texas coast, fly fishing in the Rockies, and pursuing his lifelong love of music. A singer-songwriter and guitarist, he has shared his music across Fredericksburg, Creede (Colorado), Cloudcroft (New Mexico), and North Padre Island.
